Founder of PlansConnect

I’m Swati Shah, MD, MPH, FACOG, a clinically retired and currently board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, and the founder of PlansConnect. After many years in both clinical and nonclinical roles — in medicine, public health, and the pharmaceutical industry — I realized that what I loved most was helping others find their path, grow their networks, and explore new possibilities for their careers.

That passion led me to create PlansConnect. I believe that connection can transform careers — and lives. Throughout my own journey, I’ve had the privilege of bringing together members of the scientific, medical, and public health communities, sparking collaborations and opening doors to new opportunities.

Today, I focus on creating those same opportunities for others, whether through local, regional, and national networking events or personalized 1:1 sessions. Helping health and life science professionals discover their own version of success gives me immense joy and a deep sense of purpose. PlansConnect is my way of giving back to the community that shaped my own career.
